Scott Javor is a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance segment and is based in Seattle. He is also a member of FTI Capital Advisors, LLC, an investment banking subsidiary of FTI Consulting. Mr. Javor is a financial expert with more than 19 years of experience in M&A sell-side and buy-side advisory, financial and operational restructuring, strategy, performance improvement, operations analysis, interim management, due diligence, business plan analysis, valuation, deal structuring and negotiation.

Mr. Javor’s advisory work includes work with healthy, distressed and bankrupt companies. He has led sales transactions, advised clients on strategic transactions, conducted due diligence and negotiated sales agreements. Mr. Javor joined FTI Consulting from GE Capital, where he was part of the Leveraged Finance team. Prior to Leveraged Finance, he was a member of GE’s Corporate Audit staff, a leadership and financial training program. During his tenure at GE, Mr. Javor earned his Black Belt in Six Sigma, a statistics-based methodology to improve processes and eliminate defects.

Mr. Javor holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A., with a concentration in Finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Javor is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor, Certified Turnaround Professional and Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
